Meet Sherman's Dance Instructor .........

Pam Wood
Pam Wood
Ballroom Made Simple
Local instructor and social dancer, Pam Wood, is a charter member and past president of the local USA Dance Chapter of
the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She has been ballroom dancing since 2005. Through private and group lessons and having
the opportunity to dance with professional level partners, she has acquired ballroom dance skills that she can now share
with new dancers to help them acquire a polished look on the dance floor.

In 2009 Pam had a particularly memorable dance year! She met and danced with Ballroom/Latin Champion Dancer Maksim
Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars, plus 2 other top prodancers and competitors in their field: Mayo Alanen and Nathan
Simler – each one graciously sharing their knowledge and dance tips with Pam.

Pam is eager to share her love of ballroom dancing with those who say they are “dancing impaired or rhythmically
challenged”. She currently teaches beginner Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, Waltz, Cha Cha, Salsa and Tango. One of her new
favorite dances is Samba and hopes to begin teaching that in 2010. She teaches in Salisbury and Ocean Pines. “Experience
the Joy of Dance”
