Kim Messick
Meet Kimmerly Messick "the furniture Queen"
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Kimmerly graduated in 1975 from James M. Bennett High School. Shortly
after graduating from Salisbury University in 1980, she entered into the field of furniture sales and interior design.
She has been the proud owner of Bethany Resort Furnishings in Bethany Beach, DE for 15 years. She has grown
the company to over 40 employees while “raising the bar” in terms of design and home décor in the resort area.

She spends time at her homes--both in Salisbury and at the beach--with her husband of ten years, Dicky Smith, and
their two cats, Jackson and Parker.  Kim has volunteered her time serving on many committees over the years in
support of community organizations. More recently, she joined the Heritage Foundation at PRMC, both by donating to
the Foundation as well as helping to sell commemorative bricks that are permanently displayed at the hospital.

Now, ready for a new challenge—and challenge it will surely be, as she has never had a dancing lesson—Kim is
hopeful, with the support of her friends and sponsors, to become the 2010 “Dancing Queen,” all for a great cause!

After a brief encounter with the swing dance scene, Wayne Faircloth accidentally discovered Salsa. With a few formal
lessons under his belt, he was hooked on this form of social dancing and has accepted his "leadership" role. Wayne feels
that a man's behavior onthe dance floor reveals much about himself, such as confidence, manners, and appreciation for the
danceing abilities of others. he was a student for several years. However, he has taken lessons from several others.
Dancing for Wayne who is also a professional photographer is another avenue of expression for his creativity.
